2012年4月 | ロングステイ&MM2H in トロピカルマレーシア

 

今日観光省から貰ったメールに次のようなことが説明されていました。

観光省も進歩したものです。

After a discussion with Immigration Unit, we can conclude various scenarios as per below:
1. Husband applied MM2H as main applicant. Wife and children are dependents
- After approval and endorsement of MM2H: Main applicant (husband) can apply to add-in his parents together with his parents-in-law (wife’s parents) as dependent.

OR

2. Husband applied MM2H alone as main applicant.
- After approval and endorsement of MM2H: Main applicant (husband) can apply to add-in his parents as dependents. If he intends to add-in his parents-in-law (In cases of which wife is NOT his dependents under MM2H), he can apply to add-in parents-in-law provided that he needs to show proof of relationship by submitting:

a. Main applicant’s marriage certificate (showing relationship of main applicant & wife)
b. Wife’s birth certificate (showing relationship of wife and her parents)
c. Wife’s parents marriage certificate (showing relationship of wife’s parent)

That means, wife is not necessarily be the dependent of husband under MM2H Programme in order for the husband to bring along his parents-in-law.

 

夫が主申請者で妻や子どもが帯同者である場合は

当然夫の両親、妻の両親ともロングステイビザ取得対象者となります。

これは昔から知られていたことですが、今日のこのメールで新たに分かったことは、

夫（主申請者）と妻の両親との関係が書類上きちんと義理の父母であると証明できれば

（具体的には上記a.の夫の婚姻証明、b.妻の出生証明（夫から見て義理の父母と妻との関係をここで証明）、

c.妻の両親の婚姻証明で証明）妻がMM2Hビザを持っていなくても

義理の父母はロングステイビザの申請ができるということです。

 

ロングステイビザというのは６ヶ月毎に更新しなければなりませんから面倒ですが、

1万リンギット以上の取得を証明できなかったり、

資産証明が足りなかったりというお年を召した方の義理の息子さん

（或いは義理の娘さんでもいいですが）がMM2Hビザを取得していれば、

ご本人達は財務証明を提出することなくロングステイビザが取得できるということになりますから、

これから先、自分達のために（義理の）子どもにMM2Hビザを取ってもらう、

なんていう老夫婦が出てきてもおかしくありませんね。

 

なお、私が夫と書いた部分を妻とし、妻と書いた部分を夫としても内容に何ら変わりはありません。

妻が主申請者となって、夫の両親のロングステイビザを取得することも可能という意味です。
